Arjuna's Dilemma
सङ्करो नरकायैव कुलघ्नानां कुलस्य च। पतन्ति पितरो ह्येषां लुप्तपिण्डोदकक्रियाः
saṅkaro narakāyaiva kula-ghnānāṁ kulasya cha patanti pitaro hy eṣhāṁ lupta-piṇḍodaka-kriyāḥ
Word Meanings
saṅkaraḥ narakāya eva kula-ghnānām kulasya cha patanti pitaraḥ hi eṣhām lupta piṇḍodaka-kriyāḥ
Translation
Such intermingling brings only hell upon the destroyers of the family and the family itself; their ancestors fall from grace, deprived of the offerings of food and water.
