कर्मणः सुकृतस्याहुः सात्त्विकं निर्मलं फलम्।रजसस्तु फलं दुःखमज्ञानं तमसः फलम्
karmaṇaḥ sukṛitasyāhuḥ sāttvikaṁ nirmalaṁ phalam rajasas tu phalaṁ duḥkham ajñānaṁ tamasaḥ phalam
Word Meanings
karmaṇaḥ su-kṛitasya āhuḥ sāttvikam nirmalam phalam rajasaḥ tu phalam duḥkham ajñānam tamasaḥ phalam
Translation
The fruit of righteous action is said to be pure and sattvic; the fruit of rajas is suffering, and the fruit of tamas is ignorance.
