अर्जुन उवाचएवं सततयुक्ता ये भक्तास्त्वां पर्युपासते।येचाप्यक्षरमव्यक्तं तेषां के योगवित्तमाः
arjuna uvācha evaṁ satata-yuktā ye bhaktās tvāṁ paryupāsate ye chāpy akṣharam avyaktaṁ teṣhāṁ ke yoga-vittamāḥ
Arjuna said: Those devotees who, ever steadfast, worship You thus, and those who worship the imperishable, formless Absolute—which of them are the greater knowers of Yoga?

The Blessed Lord said: Those who fix their minds on Me and worship Me with steadfast devotion and supreme faith, ever united with Me—them I consider the most perfect in Yoga.

But those who worship the imperishable, the indefinable, the unmanifest, the all-pervading, the unthinkable, the unchanging, the immovable, and the eternal—restraining all their senses, even-minded everywhere, and devoted to the welfare of all beings—they also attain Me.

Restraining all the senses, even-minded in all circumstances, and devoted to the welfare of all living beings, they certainly reach Me alone.

Greater is the struggle for those whose minds are set on the unmanifest, for the path of the unmanifest is painfully hard for the embodied to attain.

Fix your mind on Me alone, and surrender your intellect to Me. Thereafter, you shall undoubtedly dwell in Me alone.

If you cannot steadily fix your mind on Me, then seek to reach Me through the yoga of repeated practice, O Dhananjaya.

If you are unable even to practise, then dedicate all your actions to Me; performing works for My sake, you shall attain perfection.

If you are unable even to do this, then taking refuge in devotion to Me, renounce the fruits of all actions with a disciplined mind.
